Valentines Day for Real!!!

Well my Husband did not appreciate my joke about our V-Day. I was totally cool with him going to see his friend downtown this afternoon. I knew we were going to go out tonight and he just thought I was being mean. Anyways, we went out to a Japanese Restaurant and it was really nice. Our awesome friends Wyatt and Afie watched our kids for us, we owe you guys big time. It was a great day, I just want to say that I LOVE my Husband very much he is my sweetheart. I hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day.

Happy Valentines Day Heartbreaker Style

So what do you do when your Husband leaves you home alone with the kids on Valentines Day to go and watch a NBA D-League Jam session. Well Cian and I dressed up like RockStars(sort of) and rocked it out on Guitar Hero. Zoe was not into it so much, she had to go poop(you will know what I mean if you watch the viedo). Cian on the other hand wanted me to do his hair and he even let me put eye liner on him. I counldn't tell him he looked cute only COOL. So lucky for you all I recorded us playing HeartBreaker by Pat Benatar. I know what you are all thinking Mick should never leave me alone with the Kids on Valentines Day, let's hope he remembers this for next year.

What's up Toots?

Well about a couple of weeks ago we adopted a cat. The kids were so excited, Mick not so much. They have been asking for a cat ever since they have been to grandmas house and saw them all over the place. So we finally went down to Petsmart and found a really sweet cat named Tootsie. She is not the prettiest cat but she is great with the kids and she likes me the most. Mick was a little freaked out at first because he was like "she has no tail." But I catch him every once and awhile trying to pet her. Oh yeah, Cian asks me as well when is her tail going to grow, and when I tell him it's not going to grow he just doesn't get it. Zoe is absolutely in love with the cat, she's the first thing she asks for when she wakes up in the morning. We are so glad that we have added her to our family, the dogs are not so happy about it but she is one of us now.

Don't Hate..

I know everyone is jealous that I have the New Moon count down. Oh Dandi, your email about the new director,old news girlfriend I have known that for at least 3 weeks. I know I am lame, but I am sure you will be with me to watch it in I think it says 311 days, oh yeah, can't wait.

It has been awhile.....

Well it has definitely been some time since I have blogged. I missed my in-laws and my husbands brothers family coming into town, my husbands 31st Birthday, Christmas, and New Years. So I am going to try to make up for all of it in one Blog. So my husbands parents have come to stay with us for 2 months they arrived the week before Thanksgiving and are leaving this Saturday. It has been great having them here, I am glad that my kids are getting to know their other Grandparents. Cian and Zoe love spending time with them, they will be very sad when they leave. I all ready know what Cian is going to ask me everyday when they are gone, "Can Grandma and Grampa come over to our house?" He just doesn't understand the whole distance thing quite yet. Then on Dec 15th Micks older brother Ed came into town with his family and their nephew Adam. Cian had a AWESOME time playing with his cousin Ben, I think he wishes any of his cousins could live with us. Zoe took to Ed right away, I think it may be a tie between him and Mike of who she likes best besides her mom and dad. We had a great time hanging out with everyone it was a very exciting 3 weeks. We had 3 visits to the ER and urgent care, blistery drive up to the Polar Express( it was SCARY), trips to the Zoo one at night for the lights and one during the day for the animals, Chuckee Cheeses and Peter Piper, and a Camp Out at a friends house. Then Mick turned 31 yeah, we didn't do much just had a couple of friends over and of course tons of family, very low key and laid back. Christmas was just a short 4 days later, it was AWESOME the kids had a great time with no complaints about not getting what they wanted. As a family we got the Wii, I am not so thrilled about video games, but my in laws got us Guitar Hero World Tour, it's pretty AWESOME and I am AWESOME on the guitar, Adam and I were the only ones getting into it, or we just wouldn't let anyone else play, anyways I miss my drummer. So then New years came around and we just spent it at a friends house, Cian was up until 2, he loves to party. He finally fell asleep on the car ride home. I am just so happy that Micks family was able to come and visit with us, he is so far from home and I know he misses them so much, when I see him with his parents he becomes a kid again, and when he is with his brother its like he is looking up to him even though Mick is a good foot and a half taller( sorry Ed no joke intended). Your a great big brother. And if you haven't noticed I capitalized AWESOME every time I said it,that's for you Leanne. Anyways it was great Holiday season for our family and I hope everyone elses.

So the screen saver on our computer is a random showing of the pictures that we have stored on it. The kids love to just sit and watch it, so do I. So that is why I decided to put two of my favorite pics for everyone to see. Cian was about two when I took this pic, he would never keep a hat on, so when I put it on him I had my camera ready, and I got the shot. Zoe was just one, we were on vacation in San Diego for Cian's 3rd Birthday and Zoe fell down the sand hill and thought it was funny, I thought for sure she would start crying. I just want to end by saying that I love my family very much and I love how they make me laugh even when I am mad, you know who you are Cian.

Twilight at Midnight!!

Well Twilight has finally arrived and me and my good friend and neighbor Afie went to stand inline at 8:00 p.m. so we could get good seats. My husband thought we were crazy, well maybe a little, but anyways when we got there the line was wrapped around the building.( see first picture) Then Dandi and Jesse arrived and by that time the line was moving pretty fast and I don't think the people behind us were too happy that they just stepped in line with us. Finally Bethany and the rest of Afie's friends made it and we got some great seats. We had a really awesome time, it was so fun being there with my family and friends. The one family member that I sure was thinking about was my sister Aimee who lives in England and is about to have a baby boy. My mom told me to call her and talk her out of getting on an Airplane to come and go with us to the Midnight showing. WE LOVE YOU AIMEE and WE MISS YOU. Anyways, I took some video of the movie for you so if I get caught and go to jail well that is how much I love you sis.
